Terms and conditions

These terms apply to all lessons and courses provided by Olingua.

1. Registration

You register through the contact form or by email. The agreement is concluded once Olingua confirms your registration by email.

2. Lessons

• All lessons take place online, by video call.
• One-to-one lessons are scheduled by mutual agreement. Group lessons have fixed times.
• If a lesson can't go ahead for reasons on Olingua's side, you get a replacement lesson or a refund.

3. Rescheduling and cancellation

• You can reschedule or cancel a one-to-one lesson free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. Later cancellations are charged.
• Missed group lessons are not refunded, but you do receive the lesson materials.
• A lesson package is valid for 6 months from the first lesson.

4. Payment

• You pay in advance, within 14 days of receiving an invoice.
• Lesson packages and group lessons are paid in advance, per package or per month.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have a 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts. If you ask us to start lessons within that period and then withdraw, you only pay for the lessons already given.

6. Cancelling your enrolment

You can cancel group lessons monthly, effective at the end of the current month. Unused lessons in a package are not refunded after the cooling-off period, unless Olingua is unable to provide them.

7. Materials

Olingua's materials are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own study, but not share, sell or publish them.

8. Liability

Olingua teaches to the best of its ability but cannot guarantee exam results. Olingua's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the lessons concerned.

9. Questions and complaints

Please send questions and complaints to info@olingua.nl. We respond within five working days.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law, without prejudice to the protection you enjoy as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
